Heirloom & Beyond: Essentials to Indulgences will take place August 18-23, 2017 (Martha will join us the 21st through 23rd). This week-long sewing retreat features a fabulous curriculum with more than 20 wonderful projects and kits developed by our Martha Pullen licensing team. You’ll love learning from the course instructors — Peggy Dilbone, Kathy McMakin, Connie Palmer and Alicia Welcher — as you fill your days with hands-on sewing, lots of fun and memories to last a lifetime. Of the 20 project kits you will receive, the vast assortment of styles and designs forms a wonderful collection of projects.
It will be a joy for me to return to Arlington Convention Center, this time with another show,” Martha said. “I loved producing Martha’s Sewing Room there for over 15 years, I think! I cannot wait to see some of the ladies and gentlemen who have been coming for all of those years. I will also participate in the teacher licensing for two days as well as teach several times at their fabulous OSQE show. So I’m coming with bells on, and I surely hope to see many of you there!”

I so enjoyed the warmth hospitality both at the show and the Embassy Suites where we stayed. This was a new venture north for us and the reception was overwhelming. Thanks to all who came by out booth. You made us feel as if we had known you for years.

International Quilt Festival

This year was quite a mixture of emotions.
My granddaughter from Denton worked Market with me, then my daughter from Kaufman was hwew for the Festival. And did we have fun. The show itself was a hugh success, selling out of most our products the second day. We just keep under-estimating how useful and needed our sewing aids are. The sad part of this show was our car being broken into and lots of personal and show items stolen. However, we did not let this keep us down, we just took orders and shipped as soon as we got back to the shop. Thanks to everyone for helping make this a good event. See you next year.

Whew, Glad that trip was over.
My daughter Tamra and I drove from Texas to Chicago. It was a great time of laughter and talking for hours. Spending a week with Tamra was a week of making memories. As for the show, lets just say, lets talk about something else. What an experience.
And the drive home was also full of talk, laughter and crazy experiences.

8th Annual Stars Over Abilene

It was great getting to visit with some sewing friends we made here last year. And I got to share working with my granddaughter from Amarillo. Her comment was she felt blessed with so many new grandmothers and learned a lot about quilting.

The International Quilt Festival was a huge success as we sold out of products and took orders to ship. We are especially thankful for all the encouragement we received from those that came and visited our booth. And thanks for sharing so many testimonies about our products. Without you this would not be possible and not near as much fun. We look forward to seeing you at the next show.

Martha Pullen's Sewing Market
Thanks so much for visiting us in booth #507. The Martha Pullen's Sewing Market was a huge success and I owe it all to you my sweet new friends. We almost sold out of our two new products, the Dual Thread Stand and Hoop Shield. We did sell out of the KISS (Kut It Sew Straight) laser, Straight Sew Color Guides, and Display magnets. We will have them back in stock this week. I had several request from distributors so keep watching your favorite sewing store, our products will be available soon.

What a delight to meet so many members of the Abilene Quilters Guild during their `7th Annual Stars Over Abilene Quilt Show June 4th and 5th. 2011 The ladies worked hard at making sure the vendors were well taken care of and had all their needs met. My hat is off to the Guild for putting a quilt show together that really was a success. Thanks to all who came by our booth. I made some precious new friends and learned a lot about quilting. Thanks again to all for a great show.

Waco Wild ABout Quilts April 8th and 9th.
We had a great time in Waco and are so thankful for all the friends we made. The weather was beautiful. The guild ladies made delicious sandwiches and kept us in cool water and snacks. A big thanks for all their efforts. The big hit of the show was the Lord's Supper Quilt. What a beautiful work of art. Thank you for visiting our booth, your encouragement will bring us back again.

Sharing the booth with The Scissor Guy "Hayward" was a good thing. I learned a lot about taking care of my scissors. And I must say there were some of the most beautiful and creative quilts displayed I have ever seen. It was a delight visiting with new sewing friends that visited our booth.

Oklahoma Winter Quilt Expo. January 2010.
A big thanks to all the wonderful folks that came by our booth at the Oklahoma Winter Quilt Expo. We met some of the nicest women and men. What a delight to see the children attending this event also. The demand was huge for our Straight Sew Color Guides and Rulers (aka. Cheat Sheets) and sorry to say we ran out of Hoop Shields and supplies at the expo. What the show did confirm was that there was a demand for useful sewing tools. We have re-stocked and are shipping the pre-paid orders from the expo this week. A big thanks to my daughter Tamera and granddaughter Kayla (Lady K) for all their help and support. I could not have done this by myself. I love my girls.
