,​​Note;  If your hoops are already gooey and sticky from temporary adhesive spray, to get them pretty and clean again, I  use  Gigi's Sure Clean. I buy mine at Sally's Beauty supply or order on line.  
Just use a scrap pieces of batting or fleece but you can use paper towels. I also use it to clean the Hoop Shield a couple times a year.
For over 15 years I have used temporary spray Sulky KK2000-Green Cap. It dissipates quickly and is not a heavy wet.
I just know you will find you are enjoying embroidery more and cleaning less.
