Note; If your hoops are already gooey and sticky from temporary adhesive spray to get them pretty and clean again I use Gigi's Sure Clean. I buy mine at Sally's Beauty supply or order on line.
I just use scrap pieces of batting or fleece but you can use paper towels. I also use it to clean the Hoop Shield a couple times a year.
For over 15 years I have used temporary spray Sulky KK2000-Green Cap. It dissipates quickly and is not a heavy wet.
You will find you are enjoying embroidery more and cleaning less.

EASY CLEANING instructions.
Moisten clean soft cloth (batting scraps work great) with denatured alcohol or a cleaner such as GiGi's Sure Clean then wipe, turning cloth often removing the adhesive.
CAUTION
When cleaning shields, as always follow chemical manufactures safety instructions.
KEEP ALL CHEMICALS AWAY FROM CHILDREN
